Good post. I would add a few steps people can take to get themselves and their community ready and actively opposed to fascism. Some of this covers similar ground, but I'll throw my two cents in.
-Write: The mainstream media won't save us. Write well sourced, informed leftist content that helps people see the truth clearly
-Unionize: We must societally rediscover worker power if we are to win this.
-Organize: Join a good org. Get in community with like-minded people. Start organizing for the planned general strike in 2028.
-Learn to defend yourself: We have to practice community self-defense. Exercise, study a practical martial art. Boxing, Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kyokushin, MMA, and Wrestling are good options. If you would like to learn proper and safe marksmanship consider the Pink Pistols, Liberal Gun Club, or SRA.
-Practice good digital security: Block cookies, be as private as you can, don't overshare personal stuff, practice good opsec and digital security.
-Be brave: Now is the time for courage. No one will save us but ourselves.
I like all of this, except by no means join the SRA or Liberal Gun club. Good grief. It's basically a place for edgy lefties to get infiltrated. By all means practice with fire arms, but just not with those folks. Check out Yellow Peril tactical or InRange tv youtube channel for great information.
Fedjacketing is wrecker shit. WTF makes you think YPT, much respect to them, is any less susceptible to infiltration? Also, you aren't going to learn this from YouTube, it's a supplement, but you need to go out with real, experienced people.
I keep telling people that fascism isn’t coming to America - it’s already here. And I remind them that fascism has never been defeated at the ballot box. Ever.
Your post is full of the same defeatest, useless baloney Ive seen time and again. Not one of us singularly or collectively has the power electeds do. They are both given the power to act and the capacity to direct tax money. We pay them to do so. We cant vote in the halls of Congress. We dont enjoy the protections they do. We wont be able to affect things in the way they can. So all this "its on us" stuff is straight out of the RAND corporation, right up there with copays making people responsible for their health.
Every protest has a single purpose: get lawmakers to act. And they dont. Any act you take.can be sundered because you dont.enjoy their protections and can be disappeared. So dont ignore them. Dont give the shrugging pass and say "they cant help us or they wont." They can and will. Do everything in your power to make them, and threaten them that you will personally ensure they lose reelection, collectively, if they dont act. People get jarred from their daze real quick when their future career is threatened (speaking only of politicans).
The only.legitimate threat.is the thing you dont.want to do. They played their cards. We either play ours and get them to represent us, or replace them if they dont. We have to be willing to make the unreasonable, unthinkable electoral threat because what we face is unreasonable and unthinkable.
Kennedy was wrong.
Ask what the people we pay can do for you.
Ask why you shouldnt find someone else who will. Even AOC, who hasnt done all she can in the halls of Congress.
Your personal "ideas" for being a change agent are mostly hogwash. This starts and ends, sans something really bad, with getting politicians to act. Anything else is easily sundered.
This comment would have been infinitely more useful if you’d framed it as an alternative to the our elected a won’t save us step. And really, it’s both and. Without working to build power outside the two-party system (mine is with Maryland and Baltimore Greens) to pressure the Dems, we’re where we’ve been.

I do. And I wasn’t fed jacketing. There are good people there, but it’s notorious for having bad security. Do some research.

That’s why democraps are not the solution. They are a huge part of the problem. Traitors to their own values and their constituents.

Wish I better knew what my strengths were so I could know my role and purpose and what it dictates I must do…
