Ive started a newsletter in NJ about my municipality and its dysfunction. Its so much work and I have a steep learning curve. I get the desire to feel that your work is making a difference and being read. Hope you thrive.
I love that you quote Malcolm X here, a person who was killed by his former employer in essence & the FBI. Good quote! And a voice I love to see quoted. That Netflix show on his life and death was really good

Apparently the guy in the clip is *also* the "avocado toast" guy. So I guess it's not *that* surprising that he'd be oblivious enough to just say this stuff out-loud, in front of cameras.
Taxation is a band aid. The system being set up in such a way that the bulk of the money flows to the top is the problem. Taxation siphons off some of that money after it’s already gone to the top. The deeper issue is how to set up a system where money goes to workers without going to government first, since how could you possibly trust the government any more than you trust a capitalist.
*internal rage scream* This is why I agree with those who want a general strike to shut down the whole country until all the oligarchs listen.
Agreed ! GENERAL STRIKE! this is a big one not even close to a general strike, but the closest we've seen in awhile
