I second every word of this. Especially in regards to MSM. It's so obvious. The lack of coverage of Elon's interference in the war on Ukraine speaks volumes.
Yes! "We need a clear analysis of the class structure and a bold and definite declaration that your enemy is billionaires and bosses, rather than a nebulous cabal or a group that the right wants to scapegoat. This is vital to combating fascism and conspiracy, and helping people see the world clearly. At the same time, these later conversations show people that the left has real solutions to this billionaire issue. Building working class power, building unions at work and with our neighbors, developing worker co-ops and organizing to move past capitalism are real answers, as opposed to scapegoating the powerless or pointing people at imaginary secretive gatherings of groups that do not exist."
And we need media that supports us too -- open source perhaps? How can this be done?
Well, the obvious answer is what you are doing right now --reading and participating in a discussion throughout a social outlet. When we talk about traditional media -- TV, radio stations, papers, etc., the things got really muddy and, to quite some extent, almost impossible. Aiming for decent radical/left-wing websites, podcasts, community sustained channels -- it's all here already, the point is that it's not enough. It's not enough, because it doesn't have the right reach. I doesn't have the right reach, because of all the reasons that the article we are writing under specifies.
It remains the everyday, living and breathing interactions between people, and that's probably the only valid option within those times of mega-conglomerates and virtual delusionality.

Wonderful article, Josh! I was wondering if you’ve thought about writing a similar one geared toward the conspiratorial people? One that gives a few arguments and evidence to convince them it is capitalism and not conspiracies

Josh, well done. Thank you for the care you give your work.
I'm with Jack on an encore - will you please consider a piece written for someone rolling with the right?
Thank you.
Great article, thanks. What are the climate conspiracies?
