Thank you for this timely, well written piece. Scary to see the hysterical cries of "anti-semitism" to intimidate anyone protesting the ongoing assault on Gaza. Of course, actual racist comments or actions should be condemned. However, criticizing Israel, calls for a free Palestine, a two state solution is NOT anti-semitism. Also, folks over-using this should realize that the right wing GOP here, headed by TFG that called the folks that marched in Charlottesville "good people", are not their allies. The right wing defense of the Israeli State is rooted in some sinister interpretation of a day of reckoning per their interpretation of the Bible. Attacking Democrats is cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The saddest part of this is any Palestinians who left Gaza will never be allowed to go home. This was all part of their plan. To kill as many Palestinians as possible then drive the rest out of Gaza. And Biden is just going to let it happen.

I keep thinking to myself what happens if 6 tons of bombs is dropped on my block where i live in a beautiful, safe, quiet American suburban city. That image keeps haunting me. How can anyone possibly survive it if it were to happen. Everyone on my block would be dead including me, my family. I have 2 children myself and i know several homes on my block have children and beautiful families. Thats what happened in Jibalya refugee camp. 6 tons dropped on 1 street. The area is comprable to my block. Then another 6 tons were dropped the next day. I lost count and in all honesty i don’t even want to know how many people died after the first bombing. Jibalya refugee camp is not that big and it s so crowded unlike my block. This terror is just beyond any imagination. A horror movie lived everyday by innocent Palestinians. Except for them its not a movie, its a reality and it wont end. How is this possible. If we are not brave enough to call it pure evil then there is no humanity left. The ugly history just insists on repeating it self. Do we have to live the horrors people in Europe lived through during their mad wars. Or is the need to inflict pain on others is so great that evil souls cant be healed nor redeemed.

Israel does not care. They have never cared. They don’t even care about the hostage. One survivor of one of the kibbutz attacks said they the Israeli military was having such a hard time overcoming the Hamas fighters that they decided it would be easier to just shell the entire kibbutz, and kill Hamas and Jews alike. Their only goal is to kill as many Palestinians as possible and attempt to drive the rest into the Sinai. There’s even an official document that states their plan. How can you redeem their souls when they never had one to begin with?

Thank you for saying that. Yep they pretty much shelled the kibbutz by dire t orders from Netenyahou to kill everyone including the settlers! And sadly the next phase would be to forcibly push the Palestinians to the sinai desert. Thats precisely why Blinkin is in the region now coordinating their evil master plan.

I always try to find points of agreement with someone whose views differ from mine, so I will say that I agree with you that comparisons with the Holocaust are ill-advised.
