You & Chris Hedges & Caitlyn's work I always enjoy. I'm sure many more but I'm just navigating things that resonate with me slowly. Any other suggestions of authors on substack that have similar msgs?
Speaking as a self-exiled Seattle native and grunge-era veteran: you have to remember that there are still a WHOLE lotta folks in this land who barely (if at all) know where Seattle is, let alone what goes on there. We’re out there with Alaska to them.
Pair that with our notably passive-aggressive nature, and it’s no mystery why Fox lackeys would be surprised when we give answers that don’t follow from the prompt.😈🙃
I got a topic you or someone should write about... I live in MN, I take care of my dad who's in hospice, and I freely admit I have substance abuse issues. I can't work because I'm needed to care for my father. In MN if you have had a drug felony within 10 yrs they can drug test you if you sign up for SNAP OR GA, and if you fail they can take your benefits for 10 years. So in order to pay out less & just keep making drug charges a life sentence, they do this shit. So I could definitely use the assistance, but I don't collect cause it's a trap for people who would fail. And it's random so you can kinda stay prepared but for real it's fucked up, I'm sure I'm not the only one who could use the help but doesn't collect because of that shit. Denying food because of addiction is fucked up
I do worry that Fox aired that piece as a way to mock Seattle folks...."lol at these loser libs, this is what the enemy looks like". Damn I hope I'm wrong though.
Fantastic piece!! ✨🌹🖤❤️🔥
Thank you!!
No doubt, I always enjoy your zooming out.

Kelly Hayes, Mariame Kaba, and John Russel are the first to come to mind! They’re all on here, with varying frequencies, and all doing great work
Thank you! I appreciate your work!
